Upcoming Events!

We have so many upcoming events coming up! This Friday is Freshmen Friday. Next Friday is an Instant Decision Day. April 1st is a Campus Overnight experience. April 18th is President’s Scholar Day for accepted students. And April 25th is our last Open House of the Spring! You can register for any of these events and find out more about the specifics of each event on our website www. georgian.edu!

We have been getting a lot of questions about President’s Scholar Day- about what is going on that day. This event is for admitted students only (and their families of course). They are invited to attend different seminars in the morning, followed by a lunch with faculty and students. Admitted students will have their pictures taken receiving their scholarships from GCU.

As for campus events, coming up on March 28th is GCU’s 28th Annual Irish Afternoon starring Ronan Tynan. Check out  more info about this event.  Also on the 31st, Billy Collins, Ph.D., is coming to speah to campus. He served as poet laureate of the United States from 2001 to 2003. Find out more about this event too! We have so many activities happening on campus it is hard to keep up with all of them on the blog!!!

April is a very packed month for Admissions. The counselors are also visiting high schools and attending college fairs in your area- I will post more about our visits soon!
