With so many admissions events going on, I figured I would answer some of the questions I get asked a lot here.
When are admissions deadlines?
GCU has rolling admissions. So yes, you can still apply.
How can I apply?
You can apply using our paper application or using our online application. The online application is available on www.georgian.edu. We do waive the application fee if you apply online automatically.
How do I apply for financial aid?
In order to apply for financial aid, the first step is to complete the FAFSA.
What are the requirements for admissions?
A traditional freshman is a student applying for admission within three years of high school graduation and has no full-time previous college experience.
- Submit completed Application (online or paper)
- Submit $40 Application Fee /Waiver
- Submit Official High School Transcripts including a schedule of 12th grade classes.
- Submit 2 Letters of Recommendation
- Optional SAT or ACT Scores (SAT or ACT scores are required for applicants for the Nursing Program)
- Optional Résumé of Activities or Brag Sheet
- Optional Application Essay, the topic choices areL
- Describe a difficulty that you have had to overcome OR
- Describe your career goals and what influenced you to select that particular field OR
- Submit a graded essay/term paper that you have written in the last year
What is the student to teacher ratio?
14 to 1! That means small classes, individual attention, and that your professor will actually know your name! This is something we are very, very proud of.
